Just a quick note to say thank you all very much for everything over the last few days - we really enjoyed our stay.
The service from everyone there was excellent, and we'd also like to say a special thank you to the chef - the food was consistently top class, all the way from breakfast, to lunch and on to dinner.
Hopefully we'll be back some day.

I am writing to express our grateful thanks for the wonderful day that we all had on Friday. The setting was superb with the river bordering the gardens and the lovely mellow golden tones of the buildings. The food was enjoyable and we all lingered over a very long lunch. After the meal we all walked around the beautiful village and then had the birthday cake on the terrace.
It was after 7.30pm before we finally left and Dad was beaming with delight at the day, he didnt know the venue or the additional guests so it made a lovely suprise for him.
